How to make money on Telegram

You can make money on Telegram in a few real ways: running a channel, selling services or products, building bots, and playing reward games for small extras. Telegram is also full of "earning" groups and bots that only take money. Here is what genuinely works, what each way needs, and the Telegram scams to recognise.

Run a channel

A channel with an engaged audience earns from ad posts, paid reactions and paid posts in Stars, paid subscriptions and, where available, a share of official Telegram Ads revenue. It takes months of regular, useful posts. How to start: how to create a Telegram channel.

Sell services and products

Telegram works as a storefront and support desk: designers, tutors, translators and small shops take orders in chats, and bots accept payments. Your existing skills matter more than the platform. More ideas in how to make money online.

Build bots and mini apps

Developers build bots for businesses or launch their own mini apps that sell digital goods for Stars. Start with how Telegram bots work and BotFather.

Small extras: tasks and reward games

Mini app games and task bots pay small amounts for joining channels, testing bots or watching ads. They are pocket money, not an income. One example is TotalHash, a free mining game where your phone mines blocks for the in-game token #TH and tasks pay small amounts of USD₮ and GRAM, withdrawable to your own TON wallet from 0.1 GRAM or 1 USD₮, with no deposit.

Telegram money scams

• Task groups that pay for likes, then ask you to top up for "premium tasks".
• Investment and signal channels promising fixed daily profits.
• Fake admins and support who message you first and ask for codes or crypto.
• Earning bots that require a deposit or dozens of referrals to withdraw.
• Login code requests of any kind: they are account takeovers.

The same checks as for any earning app apply: earning apps that actually pay.
